Lexi and Aaron’s wedding day was on a scorching summers day in July at the spectacular Denbies Vineyard in Surrey, which felt more like the South of France!
The morning began at Lexi’s parents house in London where Lexi and her bride squad all got ready together, getting their hair and makeup done by Natasha Fletcher and Jessica Rose
Lexi’s incredible wedding gown was by Pronovias and her wedding shoes were the same iconic dark blue satin and jewelled Monolo Blahnik shoes which were worn by Carrie Bradshaw in the class tv series “Sex and the City”
The exquisite floral bouquets and arrangements were by Scentsational Flowers and Hedgerose and Honeysuckle
Once everyone was ready and looking amazing we all headed off together to Denbie’s Vineyard for Lexi and Aaron’s wedding ceremony and reception.
The couple’s wedding ceremony took place outside amongst the birds, bee’s and butterflies, surrounded by the magnificent vineyard and hot summer sunshine.
After the beautiful wedding ceremony, the newlyweds greeted their guests during the champagne reception, my second photographer Chloe and I photographed candid shots of the wedding party whilst everyone caught up with each other, drinking champagne and eating delicious canapés in the sun. Then I photographed the group photographs of the couple with their family and friends with the backdrop of the stunning vineyards.
Everyone then took the Denbie’s train tour high up through the Denbie’s Estate where there were breathtaking views of the North Downs. The newlyweds, the videographer Jono and I got off the train to take more couple shots with the incredible views in the background. Afterwards we got on the second train tour with the remaining guests and went back down to Denbie’s for Lexi and Aaron’s wedding reception.
The wedding breakfast was held in the bright and beautiful Conservatory Atrium, followed by speeches from the father of the bride, two of the bridesmaids and the best man. The best man had arranged a surprise at the end of his speech “Singing Waiters” who had been disastrous waiters throughout the meal, dropping and spilling things, and being very clumsy. Suddenly they burst into song! The atmosphere was incredible and everyone was up singing along and dancing, it was so much fun!
Lexi, Aaron and their guests then moved next door into the Garden Room for the cutting of the cake and their first dance. There was a live band who played until the early hours of the morning and kept everyone up dancing late into the balmy summer night.
