Hampton Court House is a magnificent Georgian mansion overlooking Bushy Park, set within nine acres of incredible 18th Century gardens. Located just a stone’s throw from the historic Hampton Court Palace, Hampton Court House is a magical wedding venue to celebrate a dream wedding day.
Built in 1757, Hampton Court House was an elegant and palatial mansion fit for a royalty. Today the house is used for lavish weddings and events. The stunning main hall is for used for civil wedding ceremonies and champagne receptions. The house also includes a theatre, an impressive conservatory, an opulent dining room, and many more incredible rooms. The famous astronomer Thomas Wright designed the sunken gardens, also within the grounds there are many other beautiful areas which make a dramatic and wonderful backdrop for photographs, these include a heart shaped lake, a winter garden with tall palm trees and a stunning tiled terracotta terrace, and a magical shell grotto.
I have been privileged to have photographed several weddings at Hampton Court House my most recent wedding was Hannah and Jakes’s incredible summer wedding which can be viewed below.
“Charlotte was a dream photographer. She is very professional but also so friendly, calm and warm. The photos of our wedding are amazing, we will treasure them forever. We are so pleased we hired Charlotte to capture our special day and would recommend her to anyone without reservation. Thank you so much, Charlotte!”

I met Cavelle & James back in September 2019 when they came to my photography stand at The National Wedding Show, Olympia. Back then we didn’t know there was a pandemic ahead!
The couple sadly had to postpone their wedding day several times due to the government restrictions and lockdowns, but wow was it worth the wait!
Cavelle & James finally got married and had their perfect wedding last month, having their wedding ceremony at the beautiful church at St Mary’s University in Twickenham. After their wedding ceremony, I photographed the confetti line and then Cavelle throwing her bouquet. I then took the short drive with the newlyweds in a London wedding taxi to photograph their couples portraits in Bushy Park which was full of deer and dramatic Autumn colours. We also took some shots in front of The Princess Diana memorial fountain.
We then headed back to the stunning Hampton Court House for the wedding reception, where Cavelle & James’s family and friends were waiting to greet them. The couple had their champagne reception, followed by their wedding breakfast, then there were plenty of tears and laughter with the emotional speeches. Then it was time for the cutting of the sensational wedding cake by Designer Cakes by Elle, and then it was onto the newlyweds first dance as family and friends watched on. The dancing carried on late into the night and the atmosphere on this mild October night was buzzing.
It was such a pleasure to have been a part of this fantastic couples wonderful wedding day.
“Charlotte captured everything we ever dreamed of. We look through her photos at minimum once week. She made this aspect of wedding planning seamless. She was a joy to work with!
We are completely biased- but I am sure you will agree that the photo’s attached are simply beautiful. On the day, Charlotte is like a secret Ninja! You don’t know that she is there! She took on board everything we spoke about and what moments/areas we wanted to be captured. We are not really good at having photos taken ( it is an awkward act!) Charlotte was super creative, she made us feel at ease and caught all the amazing and flattering angles!
Also, her turnaround is very quick for a wedding photographer! We went away a few days after getting married and was shared a wonderful ‘preview’ of the album. I will never forget the moment of excitement when we clicked on the link she had sent. They literally took our breath away! If you are considering a wedding photographer, please look no further… Charlotte is INCREDIBLE!”
