Beautiful Autumn Wedding in Barnes

I loved every moment of photographing this gorgeous couple’s London wedding this September in Barnes.

Their planned big Spring wedding had to be postponed due to the government restrictions.

It was a huge relief that they managed to have their wedding of 30 people, as two days after this wedding, the government reduced the numbers allowed for weddings yet again, down to 15 people allowed at a wedding! What a year it has been!

This wonderful day started at The Petersham hotel in Richmond where the bride got ready with her bridesmaids. I was spoiled for choice on what to photograph – champagne, flowers, the adorable flower girls, and cute page boy.  Everything and everyone looked so beautiful.

The wedding ceremony took place in the picturesque Barnes Village, followed by more champagne and photographs overlooking Barnes pond. It was a crisp Autumn day, thankfully the rain held off.

The wedding reception was held at the Brown Dog pub in Barnes, which felt like home. It was full of flowers, scented candles, a comforting open log fire, friendly staff and delicious food.

It was a such a fabulous day, and such a pleasure to be a part of.

I wish Issy and Jonny the happiest future together.
