I met Cavelle & James back in September 2019 when they came to my photography stand at The National Wedding Show, Olympia. Back then we didn’t know there was a pandemic ahead!
The couple sadly had to postpone their wedding day several times due to the government restrictions and lockdowns, but wow was it worth the wait!
Cavelle & James finally got married and had their perfect wedding last month, having their wedding ceremony at the beautiful church at St Mary’s University in Twickenham. After their wedding ceremony, I photographed the confetti line and then Cavelle throwing her bouquet. I then took the short drive with the newlyweds in a London wedding taxi to photograph their couples portraits in Bushy Park which was full of deer and dramatic Autumn colours. We also took some shots in front of The Princess Diana memorial fountain.
We then headed back to the stunning Hampton Court House for the wedding reception, where Cavelle & James’s family and friends were waiting to greet them. The couple had their champagne reception, followed by their wedding breakfast, then there were plenty of tears and laughter with the emotional speeches. Then it was time for the cutting of the sensational wedding cake by Designer Cakes by Elle, and then it was onto the newlyweds first dance as family and friends watched on. The dancing carried on late into the night and the atmosphere on this mild October night was buzzing.
It was such a pleasure to have been a part of this fantastic couples wonderful wedding day.
